Google Releases Version 3 Of Its Browser Chrome

Google has introduced version 3 of Google’s web browser Chrome. Google’s Chrome team has released an updated version of Chrome 3.0.195.4 beta that was released in August. The latest version of Chrome that has been released includes speed bumps and other features that were available in the beta version earlier. Chrome has undergone rigorous changes that involved 51 developers with 21 beta and 15 stable updates. More than 3500 bugs have also been fixed. However, this version of Chrome is expected to be more stable than any other earlier versions of it as Sony in including Chrome as one of its built-in browsers along with Internet Explorer on Sony Vaio laptops.

Facebook is trying to fight its competition by acquiring new companies. When all the other major internet players are slow in acquiring new companies during this time of recession, Facebook has made a bold move. It has recently acquired FriendFeed. Friendfeed is not a too big a company. It is operated by a small group of professionals. It consists of a team of 12 employees who will join Facebook. Friendfeed was created by four people who were once part of Google’s development team. They were responsible for handling Gmail and Google Maps. The four founders of Friendfeed include Jim Noris, Bret Taylor, Sanjeev Singh and Paul Buchheit. Both the companies have not announced the value of acquisition.
